G-KDEN Ikarus C-42 Bravo
Our school aircraft is G-KDEN, an Ikarus C-42 Bravo. It has the world renowned 80hp Rotax 912 engine with an ultra efficient Neuform prop, the most efficient and quietest engine/prop combination available.
The Bravo model offers more legroom for taller pilots than the original C-42A and ours is the latest spec that uses more carbon fibre in place of fiberglass to reduce weight and improve performance, allowing us to climb to height quicker during training.
G-KDEN is equipped with a transponder with ADS-B capability (ADS-B increases our visibility to other aircraft and allows full flight tracking.) and Pilot Aware for safety. Pilot Aware is the greatest advance in pilot safety in decades as it allows us to see all other aircraft fitted with transponders in the vicinity.
Once you have your licence, G-KDEN is available to hire for Cambridgeshire Flight Training Students, please contact us for details.
